Preview streaming and latest updates

We are exited to say that we now finally will be able to offer full-length preview steaming from most our labels. One track from every album (limited to 10 min) will be available for full length streaming. This is a big improvement from the previous 30 seconds limit.

Other news; Subradar recently started collaborating with some more great labels. The latest additions are: UK based Fataka and Corvo records from Berlin. Lots of great new music! Two of the newest Fataka releases, Stonecipher (Axel Dörner/Mark Sanders) and Prediction and Warning (Steve Noble/ Ikue Mori) are reviewed at Subradar buy Philip Clark.

We also have some exclusive Sun Ra and Anthony Braxton recordings coming up from Leo records so keep an eye out for that.

There are currently two excellent interviews with British filmmaker Hellen Petts and Norwegian composer icon Arne Nordheim buy Julian Cowley available at subradar. Petts has been documenting and collaborating closley with British improvising musicians over the last 10 years, and has just completed Solo Soprano a film about saxophonist Lol Coxhill. We just added some short videos of hers to the website: Gino Robair in my kithchen, Ute on the marshes and Okkyung Lee London solos being a few. In connection with a large Nordheim exhibition and concerts at the Hennie Onstad arts centre in Oslo, we published Cowleys interview with Nordheim 10 years after it was originally done 19th May 2003 at Grotten.
